The Boats to Come
At the border between Panama and Colombia, two villages live to the rhythm of Venezuelan return migration. One, once oriented toward passage to the north, is now plunged into a suspended waiting; the other, turned into an official return point, sees migrants arriving every day as they head back home. With horizons under watch and local economies disrupted, the film explores how these coastal communities adapt to the reversal of migration routes.
